Fresh Garden Grown Vegetable Salad Recipe with Salad Dressing

Homegrown

From the garden to the table - nothing beats the fresh taste of home garden grown vegetables. They are juicier, tastier, more nutritious and actually have the colour and smell of real vegetables. Store bought vegetables just do not compare! For example, garden grown tomatoes are redder in colour on the inside, juicier and they actually smell like tomatoes. Tomatoes are also much cheaper to grow than to buy them. In stores, they are very expensive and of lower quality - very bland in taste and lack the juiciness of tomatoes.

Growing your own fresh vegetables is one of the many benefits of summer to enjoy, yet unfortunately, it is very shortlived or seems that way. Of course you can also freeze any extra tomatoes for use in cooking during the winter months which I like to do especially with cherry tomatoes. Plus, by growing your own vegetabes, you are getting a full body exercise wokout and it also benefits your mind - great way to relieve stress, relax and immerse yourself in nature. Appreciate the whole process - from seed to table!

Here is a very simple, quick and highly nutritious salad using a few homegrown vegetables with a quick salad dressing with garden grown fresh herbs. Each ingredient in this salad is high in antioxidants - vitamins, minerals and nutrients. Part of a meal or on its own, a very healthy way to eat!
