For a protein bar, it is sinfully delicious! A dark chocolate coating with a chocolatey inside and chewy fudge taste that is not overly sweet. I can see and taste small bits of almond too. Must be from the real almond butter or almond flour that they use in the ingredients. The second time I ate this protein bar I could really discern a buttery taste, I guess from the almond butter. It gives the protein bar a nice more mellowing yet contrasting taste to the cacao powder and chocolate fudge taste.

I really liked this protein bar. It had a delicious flavor, plus I love chocolate and the fact that it is an all natural product. It doesn't have the usual gummy taste of a lot of protein bars, it actually has a lot of flavor and you can definitely taste it.
