Organic Naked Greens

Organic Naked Greens powdered supplement

Mid to late spring, summer and mid fall are my favorite seasons of the year. The warm and hot temperature has a lot to do with it but it’s also because I can grow a lot of vegetables in my backyard garden. It’s an extremely inexpensive and rewarding way to eat a lot of healthy, organic vegetables and get a daily variety of vegetables into my diet. I tend to grow leafy greens, herbs, traditional vegetables and non-traditional leafy greens and vegetables like so-called edible weeds (purslane, amaranth, lamb’s quarters... just to name 3).

In summertime, there is nothing more delicious then enjoying a fresh, juicy and large vegetable salad with home made salad dressing served with a barbecued chicken breast. The salad just smells and tastes garden fresh! If you are vegan or vegetarian, try a barbecued plant-based burger with a large garden salad.

Of course, I cannot eat it all the vegetables that I grow, so I freeze a lot of them. In this way, I can still use them in various dishes during the winter and the colder spring and fall months. Not the same as fresh but freezing locks in the nutrients and you still have quality and healthy vegetables in the off season.

Unfortunately many people may not have the luxury of a garden, the knowledge or the time to grow their own vegetables. Having a vegetable garden is in fact a lot of work, but it is also a good form of natural exercise as well as being great for the spirit and mind. A way to unwind and get in tune with your natural environment.

By now everyone knows about all the health benefits eating more vegetables, plus the trend nowadays is away from eating meats or limiting meat consumption and more towards non-meat diets - like plant-based diets. Another convenient and healthy way to get your daily servings of vegetables is by using an organic greens powdered supplement like Naked Greens which contains quality organic greens in a powdered form:

From the time that I have received the Naked Greens plant-based supplement, I have tried it several times. I added 1 scoop to 8 ounces of water. The product mixes really well after stirring for about 1 minute. On it's own mixed with water, it tastes a lot like cooked cauliflower. It even smells a little like cooked cauliflower. I have to admit, the first time I tried it, I didn't know what to think of the taste. It's different, but by the second time trying Naked Greens, I really like it. I guess you can say it is an acquired taste! Since it is in powdered form you can also use it any way you like, for example in smoothies or in cooked dishes or you can add it to your veggie burger to add flavor depth, nutrition and substance. There are many easy and different ways to use this quality organic and natural product to suit your tastes and lifestyle. You could probably even add it to your favorite protein powder after a weight training workout.

For people into sports or athletics, add it to your water bottle or consume it after your run or athletic activity to replenish you body with vitamins and minerals.

Whether you prefer fresh vegetables or you wish to supplement your daily vegetable intake with a product like Naked Greens, make eating vegetables an important part of your daily diet.
