Low to
High Chop Exercise Video
Full body exercises
allow you to work several muscle groups at the same time. They are
amazing exercises for losing weight, body toning, getting a good cardio
workout and adding muscle strength. They are also great time savers,
especially if you do not have a lot of time to work out. Also, many of
the exercises can be done at home or at the gym with minimal equipment.
The exercise that I am going to demonstrate is the Low to High Chop. I
always work out at the gym so I no longer have any weight training
equipment at home except this free weight plate. Although a medicine is
preferable for this exercise, a free weight plate will suffice for
demonstration purposes. I also want to illustrate that many of
these full-body exercises can be done with minimal fitness equipment.
Plus, a video helps to demonstrate this particular exercise more
effectively.
Main area of emphasis:
Primarily targets and works out your legs, obliques, lats and shoulders.
Method of Performance
Grab a free weight or medicine ball.
Stand with your feet slightly more than shoulder width apart and bend
at the knees.
Twist to 1 side with your arms extended and hold the medicine ball
there – the starting position.
Diagonally swing the free weight or medicine ball directly across your
mid-section and over your shoulders as far as you can go.
Lower the medicine ball back down to the starting position.
This exercise video on the low to high chop will demonstrate clearly
how the exercise should be done.
